Director of Basketball Programming

Zach Gillion is a co-founder of Gillion Basketball Academy and nationally recognized AAU TEAM BREAKDOWN. Coach Zach served as a D1 Assistant Coach for Chicago State and Samford University, was a 2x Florida High School Coach of the Year, and coached TEAM BREAKDOWN elite teams for 24 years, winning 2 National Championships, and sent over 150 athletes to college and over 50 athletes to the pros. Coach Zach is a game film, highlight film and recruitment specialist with a proven track record for getting our athletes seen and signed.

Director of Basketball Operations

Darrnance Gillion is a co-founder of Gillion Basketball Academy and natioanlly recognized AAU TEAM BREAKDOWN. Coach Darrance has ben coaching with TEAM BREAKDOWN, and ranked high school teams for 24 years and has developed over 150 players into college athletes and over 50 plyers into professional players.

Director of Player Development

Warren Doles started his basketball career playing college basketball for Shephard University and Fairmont State where he still holds assist records at both schools. Since then Coach Warren has a successful track record of developng talent and coaching athletes. He has served as an assistant basketball coach at Alexandria City High School, served as player development coach for Team China National Team and CBA Qingdao Eagles Club, founded DMV Basketball Academy where he coached and trained numerous college athletes including Haywood Highsmith, D2 National Player of the Year and current player for the NBA Miami Heat, and has several players he trained playing professionally overseas.

Head Trainer/AAU Coach

Coach Mo started with Team Breakdown as a player in high school, Class of 2016, playing on the #1 U16 team in the country. He then took his talents to D1 playing for Western Carolina University and Harris-Stowe University where he won the AMC MIDWEST Conference Championship in 2020.

Mo did a graduate year at the University of the Virgin Islands were he earned 2nd Team All Conference averaging 15.5ppg and 8 rpg and was top ten in the conference in points, rebounds, 3pt %, and blocks and first in school history to win postseason awards- all while earning his MBA.

Coach Mo was a high level performing student in the classroom as well to match his high performance on the court and is perfect mentor for our student athletes looking to play at the next level.

Trainer/AAU Coach

A three-time 7A All-State Honorable Mention by the Sun Sentinel and Miami Herald , Nailah helped Northeast High School to the Class 6A State title game as a senior and led Broward County in scoring as a junior, averaging 15.5 points per game to go along with 5.0 rebounds and 4.5 assists. She played D1 basktball at Saint Joseph Univeristy and Coppin State and won her team’s 2019-20 SJU Best Defensive Player Award. Upon graduation, Nailah served as an assistant coach forthe University of Albany’s Woman’s Basketball Team. Nailah is also overseeing TEAM BREAKDOWN’s girls basketball program and coaching the teams.

Director of Academy Operations

Phil is Director of TEAM BREAKDOWN and a Co-Founder of Gillion Basketball Academy. He has a law degree from Tulane University and a Masters in Finance from George Washington University School of Business. He is the owner of Globalwax, an international import export company covering Asia, Latin America and the United States and a Managing Member of Capital Realty Group, a real estate investment holding company. In his free time you will find the lefty in the gym playing hoops and knocking down threes if you give him too much space.
